F4F's vision is to mend the negative self images of girls and young women.
We believe that mending negative self-images in young women will ultimately strengthen the community both locally and nationally and that civic involvement and social responsibility promote an intrinsic sense of worth.Every young woman deserves the opportunity to explore and pursue her dreams.
F4F, was founded in 2010 by Brittany King, a single mother who is also a domestic abuse survivor. Brittany is a Texas native with an extensive history of involvement in nonprofit organizations and community endeavors. While teaching a course on alcohol and substance abuse to at-risk youth, Brittany observed the undeniable link of low or no-self esteem to engagement in risky behaviors. It became clear that a unique program that addressed the issue of self esteem was essential to help empower this disenfranchised population.
