Then Foundation for the Future (F4F) is looking for you!

F4F has positions for girl and student interns for a semester, the summer, or all year. Positions are unpaid, but letters of recommendation and units for classes at school are offered whenever possible. You will also gain valuable experience in the following areas of Non-Profit management while contributing to a great cause. Note: contact with the girls we serve is extremely limited to protect the integrity of the Girl Action Team structure.

Interns needed in Houston, TX and virtually:

FUNDRAISING DEPARTMENT INTERN (1 position available)
Duration: 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year internshipTime commitment: min. 2 hours, max. 8 hours (virtual) . Gain explosure into the field of philanthropy planned giving and annual campaigns. Come learn how F4F raises money to support our cause. Support the Development (fundraising) team with event planning, researching donors, sending letters, and interacting with people to tell them about our work.

OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT INTERN (1-2 positions available)
Duration: 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year internship
Time commitment: 5-10 hours per week (virtual) office
Join the Operations team as part of their support staff. Learn how a national organization is run! Projects will offer variety and a wide range of great non-profit management skills from finance, donor relations, media and marketing, administration, and much more.

DATABASE INTERN (2-3 positions available)
Duration: 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year internship
Time commitment: 5-10 hours per week (virtual) Learn website maintenance and manage and help us update our electronic files. Gain important office, data management, and problem-solving skills, critical for any job!

MEDIA/MARKETING INTERN (1-2 positions available)
Duration: 3-5 months
Time commitment: 3-8 hours per week, independent work
Requirements: must have valid  Driver’s License, access to a car preferred. Help F4F update our video inventory of our work. Interview girls and coaches and visit teams all around the Bay Area. Learn how to work with multimedia equipment and gain great experience in film.

SOCIAL MEDIA INTERN (1-2 positions available)

Are you a wizard at Facebook, Twitter, blogs, and other social media?We are recruiting outstanding students as social media interns for the  2012 school year to collaborate on the boldest nonprofit initiative we know.
